Changed IP address now my dashboard icon doesn't work

Hi,

I have given reserved an IP address on my router for my icloud.  Still using DCHP  however when I open the dashboard icon from my desktop it still tries to access the dasbaord using the old IP addres. If I then type in the new IP from a broswer I can access the dashbaord.  Is there anyway of refreshing the icon so it points to the correct IP address?

In Dashboard settings/network did you change from DHCP to static and gave it the same static IP you reserved?

If you right click on the dashboard shortcut, and choose properties, you will be able to enter your new IP address.
