Can it possibly be done to change the internal 1Tb hard disk drive for a 2Tb size? Hoping to do it with a 2Tb WD brand so it can be compatible in any way. But, can it be done? Does somebody already done it? Does this drive change void the warranty at all? Can it be purchased directly form WD with this custom option?
No, there’s no 2TB drives that will fit.
And even IF there WAS a 2.5" 2TB sata drive, it would certainly void the warranty by opening the box and changing parts around.
