Hello

I would like to change pwd on my Passport and Elite WD HDD’s; tried to follow Manual’s instructions but Parameters are not accessible; WD Security and WD Drive Utilities are downloaded. Any hints pls?

It would be best to share the exact model number of your WD Passport drive. Older models are not compatible with WD Security.

My Passport 0748 and WD6400 BEVT; does it help? where can I find the Model number pls? I can read P/N and S/N but nothing related to model in the back of the Product.

WD6400BEVT sounds like the internal model number of the hard drive within the enclosure. The product number on the back of the unit is what will let you determine the exact unit.
