I have a G-Raid that uses usb 2.0 and fire wire 800 i was wondering if anyone is aware if is possible to change the drives from this one it’s one of the older ones so everything looks to be sealed it’s my main edit drive and i have noticed of late when editing the drive freezes for a while and then works again i believe the problem is one if not booth of the drives seams to be going so was wondering if it’s possible to change the drives.
You can change the drives however that is a much older device and the enclosure and drives inside are no longer made like. Newer drives will likely not work properly in the older enclosure due to how they are made now.
