Hello i have problem with my ext hdd after the disk is off. I have change the disk (with WD HDD) but i can’t connect thru network interface or usb. Anyone can help me how i can prepare the disk or my WDBOOK so i can use it again, thanks for any informarion. (MDL WD1000H1NC-00 )
The operating system of the WD My Book World White Lights is stored within the actual original internal drive inside the enclosure. As such, just replacing the internal drive is not enough to allow the unit to operate because there is no OS.
