1TB Caviar Blue HDD, 2 partitions, each roughly 500MB

at 1 time, the HDD start giving issue, can’t boot up windows with it attached.
i have to remove it, then boot up windows 7 64 bits, then hot-plugging it attempt to fix it.
only E show up, F is not, and attempt to browse the drive even at my computer is hanging the process
even shutdown is hangup, i have to unplug to let shutdown proceed
what i can to fix this? or time to rma?
