Capacity: Other

Hello all,

When I’m at the WDMyCloud homepage I can see the capacity that’s free. Then, when I click on the arrow in the bottom right of the Capacity window, I get to see the current usage of my system capacity.

There’s:

  • ‘Free space’
  • ‘Videos’
  • ‘Music tracks’
  • ‘Photos’ and
  • ‘Other’

In my case ‘Other’ has a size of 27GB! How do I find out which files are in ‘Other’?

Thanks in advance.

“Other” includes files that do not fit into the other categories, like compressed .ZIP folders for example.

Regards,

Hi Trancer, thnx for your reply.

Because of the big size of those files, I want to know exactly which files they are and where they are located so I can delete them if possible. Any tips?

Use the search function in Windows (Win+F) to search for files bigger than the specified size on your MyCloud.
