Cant use WD Sync on macOS

I have intalled the WD Sync app on my macOS device successefully. The problem is that I can’t select any of my local folders to sync to the ones in the server.
I have tried to select a local folder and drag it from my computer to the WD Sync settings menu, have tried to use the add button also, but I am not able to select any folder on my computer.
I have already uninstalled the app and installed it again, logged out and nothing seems to work.
I am having this problem only on macOS pcs, windows appears to be fine, though. What is happening? Is the problem with the pc or with the app?

Did you ever happen to get an answer to your inquiry? I recently purchased the PR2100 and believe that I have the same issues. Windows app works fine. I can get to the device over a network file share, but the Sync Tool cannot be setup as expected.
