I have two WDTV Live units on the latest firmware. I restarted both, as well as my laptop (Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit). When I try to “Play To” either device, it just spins and times out (just like this post).
Any idea?
Try turning off all smart phones and tablets. Certain brands (Samsung I think was one) can cause the issues. If it works while they are off then you need to look at that device and make sure all the automatic photo/media sharing type stuff is turned off on that device. There was a post around here about this not too long ago, maybe I can find it.
