Hello,
We have a MyCloud 2TB device in our office with 5 or 6 staff members sharing files on the device.
We were not in the office for a while due to us all working from home during the pandemic, and a few months later I tried accessing MyCloud and I was unable to connect at all. I managed to create a new user account for myself and this gave me the option to see the MyCloud Dashboard.
The dashboard shows that data is on the drive, as it shows how much free space there is, although it shows all these files as ‘Other’, not as photos etc…
In the dashboard, the Diagnosis shows as ‘OK’.
Firmware is up to date: v04.05.00-342
‘Cloud Devices’ (shows as 0), could this be the reason for us not being able to access our data?
‘Users’ show as 2 (me and admin), I can’t see any other users added anymore?
‘Shares’ show as 4
I’m completely stuck and have no idea how to solve this. Would anybody be able to help me with this.
p.s. Do i need to be in the office to be able to troubleshoot this issue? or can i solve this remotely from home?
