When I try to search for a file on my G-Drive 2 TB using Finder on my MacBook Pro, it doesn’t work. It’s formatted OS X Extended with a GUID Partition Map. Any ideas?
Which version of the Mac OS are you using? It is possible Spotlight Indexing is turned off on your drive. You can check that in the System Preferences under Spotlight > Privacy. You can remove the drive if its listed then re-add it to force it to re-index.
