you need to post the mediainfo.

I agree the media info file is necessary, but just a quick question, do all your MKV files have a resolution that high and what codec are you using.

Help I have the same problem, there are MKV files that seem to be unrecognizable by WD mine is just the T.V. model since I already have enough access to the internet and such. When I try to play the file it freezes the I press back, it does this but until I fully reset it, it can’t play anything else or even from other devices. My suspicion is that new versions of MKVs are popping out, and if that’s the case I think I just wasted 60 bucks. Just bought mine 8 days ago please don’t make me throw away an 8 day old media player

Here is the media info on one of the unplayable MKVs I have lots but the player only seems to play MKV versions made before Jan 2011 can I somehow upgrade by player? I would have no use for it if it can’t even play new movies and such

Please Help ME! Or else I might find myself trying to find another expensive product somewhere else
P.S. sorry it’s so long I didn’t know what was causing the problem, works fine in any computer though

Also If the other products like TV LIVE can support this kinds of problems since there’s one available in my area now

    • *> You should remux the file using MKVmerge but with the header compression turned off. It will not take long.> The latest firmware on the Live did overcome this problem.

Yeah sorry to bother you guys just found that out yesterday after intense researching XD the muxing mode is set to header stripping or something Just need to remux my files and set to none the header compression on the extra settings thanks a lot anyway. Remuxed my first vid and it finally worked
