If you can’t get past the update require notification (picture is below). Follow the steps below, and let me know if this helped you.

  1. Download the WD DLNA media server (link below)

http://download.wdc.com/nas/WDMediaServerPatch.deb

  1. Do a file update via dashboard

  2. Close and reopen the WD App

*Once the device restarts you’ll find that your wd app works.*

Hey Ichigo, do you have any idea why the WD app isn’t working with twonky? or if its going to be update to be compatable with twonky.
