Really could do with some help here…
First the kit I’m using
Win10 laptop which has been fully updated
Sky router,
Network Services
IPv4 Network Mode
DHCP
FTP Access OFF
SSH
OFF
Frimware 2.11.140
I did install on Thursday, I did name at set up, the my cloud as bert! and downloaded wdsyc which worked this time. But because I was having trouble getting to dashboard, wouldn’t except bert etc… I decided to do a fractory reset overnight and start again
Which I thought doing this, I would reenter the set up from scratch page, which I did, but then it seem to miss a bit, it didn’t give me the download wdsyc, so no folders has been set up
I tried to get into mycloud via my file browser like I did yesterday, but I can not log in, it excepts no passwords nor user name… Tried them all
I could how ever, see the mycloud account, but setting myself up as an user, and giving me access to this one. then I could access mycloud via my file browser as long as I logged in my user sector first
I can live with this… But
When I tried to download and set up wdsyc, it will except my log in info, but then when I hit next, it tells me that it can’t connect with remote server…
I’ve read the manual several times, and can’t see what I can do, to either start from very scratch (I did that and I’m here) nor how to overcome the issues with not connecting remote or even to log on via the file browser.
