Can't find update folder after dl

After hooking up MyBook 4tb external HD, I got a request to update which I did but I couldn’t find the actual zip folder update after downloading it. I looked on my desktop and documents but still nothing. How do i locate it?

Also I’ve heard a few nightmare stories about externals being bricked after updating. Have any of you experienced this or had any other issues afterwards? Would u recommend the latest update? Thanks.

Do you remember if you hit Run or Save?

Did you tried doing a search on the internal drive of the computer?

This is the prompt I get and I click on update software. There’s no save or run option given but it does seem to download. I just can’t locate the zip folder afterwards even after performing a folder search.
