I backed up my computer before i did a complete Windows 7 Install. I have tried using the disk, WD official downloads for actual model and new models as well as all the diagnostic tools. The external Hard drive comes up as Initio Default Controller. there is no access to any of the files through the initio device. I’ve disabled it, ran troubleshooting and tried to update drivers. I have the Power Cord plugged into the wall directly as well as the USB. Nothing will work… the install won’t install with a earlier version of Windows. the upgraded version of my External Drives Software did Download with out problems but won’t recognize my Device. Dear Holy Mother of Sporks will someone Please Help me. My whole life is on that little Black Box from the fiery depths of Elm Street ;:grumpycat:
