WD-EX4100 Backup Job “USB Port 1”. This job was accidentally created and I need to delete it but the trash can icon is always greyed out. I have asked this question for the last three year with no viable answer. The only answer that I have gotten was to re-initialize my whole system to get rid of the job and start all over again. This answer is unacceptable
I have the same issue and worked directly with WD tech support for a couple of hours one day without any luck on resolving. I have just chosen to ignore it and live with it greyed out.
No luck yet. The job keeps running for no reason and I do not know what it is doing.
Western Digital has NEVER answered one question about this in the last few years.
WD what is going on? Don’t you know your own product?
