Can't delete anything....Don't have permission

Hello,

Using a Macbook Air from this year all the latest versions of the software.  Mac OS X Mavericks.

I have a 3tb My Cloud…(latest firmware installed today)

I simply want to delete files. 

I purchased the product, plugged it in and started transfering files.  It’s been about a year or more since then, I’m ready to transfer my next set of flies and I find that nothing can be deleted for more spare due to not having permission it says.

Any ideas where I can start?

Hello,

Are you able to access the dashboard of the drive? If yes, check the settings for your user to see if you have permissions set correctly for the share that you are trying to update.
