I have copied all my iTunes library to the “My Passport” drive. I’m trying to reset my itunes path to look/download there instead of my hard drive. I use iTunes to browse to the new file location. At that time it says"…/My Passport/iTunes". when I save the new location, it defaults back to the original file location. I am logged into my PC (WIN 7/64 bit) as the admin user so I have all the proper permissions to make this change. My intention is to leave the external drive plugged into the same port via USB 2.0.
Any ideas on why I can’t create the path, or even more importantly, how to fix it?
