Can't connect to network

Everything was running fine, network wise, and now all of a sudden I cannot connect to my network.

It keeps saying “unable to obtain an IP address. The WD TV has limited or no connectivity.”

What has happened and how do I fix it??

Thanks

I have sort of the same problem with my WD Live player, so this is what fixes it for me with it.  Unplug the power cord from the HUB, wait 5 min or so then plug it back in.

If that doesn’t fix it, then it could be many other things.

Also, it would be helpful if you told whether you use wireless or wired connection.

Sounds like either a dodgy cable/ wireless connection or the router DHCP is not working as it should.

If you can cross the cable/ adaptor off as a possibility, then check the router settings and make sure that DHCP is enabled.

Using wireless connection.

All of a sudden it just stopped working. My computer/PS3/Xbox can all connect to the network fine. Just the hub can’t.

I’m looking through the options for my router’s settings Netgear WNDR3700 and it says the connection is DHCP

So it turns out that for some reason it is the firmware for the Netgear router.

I rolled back to the previous version and all is working as it should be.
