Looking for help. I have been using My WD my cloud for years have two single bays. One that updated to OS5 and on that did not. The one that is on the old operating software works fine. The OS5 however is running firmware 5.23.114. Current problem is that when I try to access the mapped network files, it might show me the files but will not allow me to play anything. When I try to login direct access with http://192.168.1.104/ It does not access. When I unplug the device and plug it back in I can access it again for maybe 5 min and then it starts to time out again. Advice? Sorry if this is in the wrong category.
Check the My Cloud Dashboard for any errors or alerts. Then check the Dashboard for the Share permissions settings and adjust if needed. In certain cases one may have to check the Credentials Manager on their computer and remove any My CLoud entries, then try accessing the Share again.

In some cases a 40 second reset can fix certain weird issues on a My cloud device. A 40 second reset generally is Not Data Destructive and will not impact user data on the device.
