Can't Access Private or Public Folders From Some Computers

Hello Everybody, I have looked through many other topics and the troubleshooting steps as well as done a lot of google searching but I can’t seem to figure this issue out.

Recently we purchased a My Cloud Home 2TB Single Bay version.

I hooked it up as it should, set it up through mycloud and downloaded the WD Discovery program and was able to access my private folder on the drive, as well as I was able to map the public folder just fine. Everything works as advertised. On my mother and fathers computers however (which both have fresh Windows 10 installations on them at this point) if I try to map the public folder I get an error, and if I use the WD Discovery program, it recognizes the drive, but clicking it does absolutely nothing and I can not access the drive. Using the drive through the website works fine, but I would like them to be able to use it through windows explorer like I am able to. I have tried nearly all the troubleshooting steps I could find in regards to mapping the folder, but can find absolutely nothing on why I can’t access the private folder like I was able to on my computer through WD Discovery and was wondering what sort of input you guys had.

Did you receive an “internal server error” message when signing in to MyCloud.com using WD Discovery on Windows 10? If so, please check this KBA

I did not recievethe internal server error, however my fathers computer occasionally shows a message about an unsigned certificate.

Different message and KBA with the same solutions

Disabling Secure Boot should not be the solution to fixing a problem. Secure boot is an important security tool and telling people to disable it to allow your program to run leaves them vulnerable to root kits and other similar attacks.
