strange problem. Only as Admin I can access pictures from android and iOS apps. Any other user can’t access pictures. Music and movies can be accessed though. Anyone has a resolution?

Is the share set to public access?
How are you accessing? As a file server (SMB, NFS), or as a media server (DLNA)?
It is in the public share. They all got access. I tried both public access and individual acces. Same issue
As a file server I guess, as I have not changed those settings. I can not really imagine that it will change the behaviour as the admin user can access, while others can’t
Whats the error message when they try and access the pictures folder?
Actually I can access the folder and see the content, but when I want to open one picture it says “can’t access this file” This is my translation as the error message is in german
It’s definitely a permissions issue , which is a bit weird as ‘Public’ is supposed to not have any issues with permissions.
I wonder if using chmod might be your only solution.

I checked permissions on linux level. All fine.
I tried a differnt app, and it works, so it looks like there is a bug in the android app…
