Can't access MyCloud via my Mac (only)

Hi all,

for some reason I cannot access my MyCloud from my Mac anymore. If I type in the IP address in my browser, I get a timeout. If I try it with any other device in the same network, I get to the dashboard right away. I don’t know what the problem is here. No firewall, DNS, VPN or something like this is activated here on my Mac. I’ve also tried it with a static IP on the MyCloud but this didn’t change anything.

Has your Mac updated its OS recently? Since it’s only the Mac that’s giving problems, it sounds like a problem with your Mac, not the MyCloud. I see there are other recent reports of Macs giving trouble…

I think so too. However, I don’t know what the problem is. I didn’t change/update anything recently.
