Cant access My Book World White Edition 1TB via browser

Hi All,

My WD World Edition 1Tb White Light version is up and running. I can ping its name “NAS” I can ping its IP Address “192.168.1.10”  and get responses.

All its shares are available and accessible from all my PC’s & Consoles. So its working. But my propblem is:

I can’t browse to it from my browser. Both Chrome and IE9 say the page can not be found. I have restarted it but no effect.

Any ideas?

UPDATE

Just for the **bleep** of it I tried accessing it using https instead of just http.

After being warned by IE9 that there was a probem with the browsers certificate I got through to the home page and was able to log in.

Now, I dont remember setting that up. I have checked the settings on the drive but cant find anything that remotely pertains to https login.

Now I am really confused :-{
