Can't access My Book Essential 1TB

We have 3 log on accounts on our computer running XP.

Recently, since I have not been able to access the hard drive ( My Book Essential 1TB ) from my log on but can access it from the other log ons.

I get a message that reads “WD Smartware has encountered a problem and needs to close”.

Any ideas why there should be a difference between log in accounts on the same computer (note: I’m not a computer geek so it could be something obvious and simple - please don’t hold that against me)

Try to update adobe flash player, java and microsoft .net framework.

I think its because you have too many users.
