Can't access from windows 7

Hi There,

very new to this, please excuse my ignorance. i have searched for this topic but didnt locate anything of use.

i have a mac and a windows laptop, wd my book live duo 4tb.

the mac pics up the network folders fine, no probs there. the windows pc doesnt do this. ive installed WD link to map the shares and place shortcut on desktop but it wont connect. please see images for errors.

the images of WD link that ive seen have the shares listed but mine doesnt.

any ideas anyone? images below

You can try going to the Control panel/Network and internet/Network and sharing center/Change advanced sharing settings, and check if network discovery, File and printer sharing and public folder sharing are all ON.
