Just bought 4TB My Book Desk Top. When 4TB WD Desk Top plugged into computer ( ASUS F5RL series, Vista Biz.) Unable to access F: Drive.
I was advised I could use it to download TV through the USB, but PVR does not recognize it either. It worked when first plugged in to the computer and was able to transfer files from Sandisk 16GB USB, drag& drop, then I got an error message. When I next started the computer I was unable to access F: drive. I have tried to use my other computer, but no success.
Do I have to re-format? Do I need to partition to 2TB, one with FAT32, and leave the 2TB in NTFS?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
