I am frustrated. I have been through mutliple posts on this forum and back and forth between my ISP and WD. I still have no answers. I cannot see my network shares and for some odd reason, I cannot view mkv files in media shares. I could in network shares. I need a resolution. I have unplugged and rebooted and reset. Please help. I am running Win 7 and have external hard drives attached to a PC.

Hi I have 2 boxes WDTVLive and WDTVLive Plus media players
I am using those boxes for years and have 3 external WD hard drives with media content , one connected to each WD media player and one connected to the desktop. All the boxes are wired together into a network via D-Link switch(Actull network cable is used)
My problem is after I disconnected my network and connected it back my WDTV media players cannot see most of network shares any more.

I have a WD Live and the firmware is up to date. It is set up to access the home network via wifi. The main PC is Windows 7 Ultimate and a Homegroup is set up to serve media to other devices in the household including a Windows 7 laptop, an Android Tablet and the WD Live connected to the LG TV.
On setup of the WDTV Live, the network password and the Windows share password were entered and all has been working when it does. I never know from one day to the next if the bloody thing can see…

Hi, my WD TV LIVE have FW is 1.01.17 i have a HDD WD3200xms
I have like 7 mkv movies, and i have problems on every one
IE. Im start view the movie and in some point of the movie: the subtitles got desynched and then the picture get freeze, then in a minute or some the screen go to the folder of the movie. i try to resume the movie, and same problem again.
The problem is on any movie and the time of the freeze is random, i dont know why.
all my MKV are made bye mkvmerge.
Any help?
