Cannot play iso files on Firmware Version above 1.14.09

I have a bunch of iso files which work fine on version 1.14.09.

If I upgrade my device to the newer firmwares I get an error saying that it doesn’t recognize the format.

has anyone experienced this issue and if so what should I do?

I was able to downgrade however I would like to be on the latest more stable firmware

I have version 1.16.13 and am having problems playing some ISO files.  It would have been nice to post a public answer.
