I want to start by saying I work in the networking field, but it’s entirely possible I’m overlooking something simple here.
I cannot ping or access the web GUI on my brand new WD Live SMP out of the box.
They are both connected to the same wireless network. They both have static IP addresses. The SMP passes network check and seems to have an internet connection. However, when attempting to ping the SMP from my Windows 7 PC, I am getting destination host unreachable.
The router can ping the SMP. My PC cannot. My PC is in a homegroup, for what it’s worth.
Any ideas?
