I am unable to connect to my PR4100, I have it connected directly to my laptop via ethernet cable via the docking station, the front panel of the NAS suggested it is connected to a network.
It has been working fine, but I powered down to move it and now I cannot access the dashboard or even ping it, I tried a shut down and reboot and same problem. Any assistance would be much appreciated I am pulling my hair out with it! Have tried typing ip address, that did nothing so tried pinging it in command window and failed.
Ok I had connected a new router, so I turned off WiFi on my laptop so that I only see my WD cloud and now I can ping it but it sends a reply from a different IP address and says Destination host unreachable. I have tried typing the new IP address in to try and reach the device but that is unsuccessful.
