Cannot make status bar go away

I have a WDTV Live Player that Ive recently started using to stream videos to from my laptop/external hard drive.

When I start playing a video, it has only the load type bar across the bottom.  If i press the OK to try and make it go away, instead the entire title shows above the load bar.  Pressing OK again only makes it go away for a few seconds, only to reappear.

I am using current firmware.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have been simply right clicking ont he file and selecting play to WDTV Live.  The file plays fine, I just need to make the status bar go away.

Can you take a picture of what you’re talking about?

Ill try and figure that out.

I have a file on my PC, I right click and select WDTV Live.  It plays to my tv but there is a status bar along the bottom.  I’ll see about pics.

I have exactly the same issue if I ‘Play To’ the the streamer with MP4’s from my Windows 8 PC…

If any one is interested I can take a picture and upload it somewhere.
