Cannot login to shares through Windows Explorer using Windows 7. Error is" \WDMyCloud\Share is not accessible. Public folders are all I can access.
Are you the administrator? Have you made any changes to shares in the Dashboard? See Help (?) information in the Dashboard and you can use the link below for the User Manual.
Why not map the drive into Windows file system (see p23 of the user manual)?
Use ‘connect as a different user name’ and enter your MyCloud username and password. Do this for all shares you want access to.
If you have mapped a public share without giving your MyCloud credentials, you will have to unmap it first; it will have connected using your Windows credentials, and Windows does not allow you to connect to network servers using mixed credentials.
