Cannot login into mycloud.com

currently i have external access from a laptop, seems to be working after password reset. Perhaps some firewalls may make some issues. Iphone app is not able to connect but this to be checked when i am within my internal network again

Since this has not been working I just tried it again and was able to sign in.

guys I found the problem, I have ublock origin extension installed that blocks google analytics script used by mycloud for some reasons, I disabled the extension for this mycloud website and it works. probably the issue will appear also with some other adblock extension.

I’m really annoyed from lazy devs that just says it works, and you browser is officially not supported, when clearly the issue is not that, for example I demonstrated more than once that current edge, officially not supported, has no issues with mycloud (I use it with no problems just emulating another browser user agent). Now I demonstrated that the issue is not the new edge based on chromium, but just an extension.

I have been having problems loging in, off and on for the past couple of months. On both Windows 7 and Windows 10. Ublock is completely disabled. I am using Firefox. I have had very little problems in the past.
I am attempting to log in through https://files.mycloud.com/.
Edit: I just get a blank screen with the web page hanging there forever. (It never seems to time out.)

just tried and works for me one edge (chromium) and firefox… it’s really annoyng that today everybody seems to care only about apps for android and ios… and give a really junior sw development for the web/desktop. probably I’ll switch to sinology soon

Same here. Been having this problem intermittently over the past week and I do not recall struggling with it before. However, it is intermittent, and the drive is only available (remotely) for a short time before bombing out again.

@ndlelex if your My Cloud is in Port Forward mode, it is not using the Relay Servers which means the source of the problem will most likely be at your network router. I would check that 1st.

now My Cloud OS3 End of Service | Western Digital looks totally down

I can’t log in either. I’ve tried logging in using Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer, cleared cookies and cache and the result is the same: My Cloud OS3 End of Service | Western Digital is blank and the animation of the browser shows continuous loading.

I’ve checked Idp.mycloud.com - Is Idp Down Right Now? and it says it’s down.
I’ve also pinged it from my command prompt and I get only time outs.

Hello everyone. New member here. I tried to log in into mycloud to access the drive from remote connection, but from any browser and computer i have it gives me error 503. I would like to have a stable access, and i understood that mycloud could have been used also in remote connections. Can you confirm that is just a down of the server?

yeah it’s been about a month that they’re messing up with the server and cannot fix it properly

A quick way to test if it’s your browser causing the issue or if the site is actually down would be to load the site in Chromes incognito mode. This will disable all your browser extensions and ad blocker. Also, you could use an online checker like Files.mycloud down? Current files.mycloud.com status and issues.

I have no port fowarding rules in effect. Anyway, WD did say they have been experiencing issues. Connected to the drive within the local network, then tried it again remotely and it was eorking again. Don’t know what’s going on.

I’m having the same issue, the one time I leave my device at home and when I don’t have the serial number, they said they’d stop helping me resolve. I thought if it’s an http 500 error, they’d be able to fix on their end or something?

I can confirm doesn’t work, again! it’s been really unstable for the last few months

It’s down again for me. Time to replace the WDMyDrive with something that is reliable.

Again no inlog possible. This malfunction is regular these months. I’m thinking of a different solution. This is too unstable to work with. Bad thing.
