Have used WD email support who recommended I ring their helpline. Could not get through after ten mins so thought I would check here if anyone has any ideas. I recently bought a My Cloud but cannot install Smartware. The download goes through, I click run and then install, it does its thing and says install successful, and then I click finish. However, after this, the software cannot be found on my system (a phantom install). Can anyone suggest a fix for this? I am running Windows 7 on a laptop.
