Cannot find Media Server

Hi,

Since yesterday i can’t find my My Cloud as a Media Server. All other functions seem to work fine. 

I normally use a WD TV Live for Videos on my TV and Mediamonkey for Android to play music through my phone.

I can find the My Cloud as a network share on the WD TV, but not as a media server. Mediamonkey also can’t find a media server.

What i have tried already:

  • Resetting My Cloud

  • Diagnostics test

  • System only factory restore

  • Quick restore

  • Resetting twonky server by accesing it via \mycloud:9000

Still to no effect. What more can i do?!

Problem solved! I took the electricity off for about 10 minutes and after restarting i can find the media server again!

Still strange!
