Tried to use the eject USB menu in Dashboard but nothing seems to be happening. Any other safe ways to eject USB without shut down EX2 completely?
What happens if you try to eject the USB drive using the WD Quick View?

I didn’t have Quick View installed but I just did… however, when I clicked the icon on the Mac’s menu bar, it says WD SmartWare is not installed.
Since I don’t use the NAS for backup I don’t have SmartWare install. Is backing up files SmartWare’s sole purpose?
