Cannot create a new "share"

Just bought my EX2 and added 2 hard drives, seems to be set up OK. Ran a disk test and they passed.

So I thought I would need to add a “share” which is a folder to begin storing my media files. When in the Set Up Shares window of the web portal, there is an icon to add a new share. When I click on it, it says “Error - No Volume Found.”

Can anybody help with this please?

Go to Storage → RAID

Do you see any RAID Volumes?

No, there are none

That is your problem.

You must create at least one Volume.
