Cannot Browse to MyBook Live

Having problems trying to browse to MyBook Live from

  1. My PC, i.e. windows explorer
  2. Sonos, either the sonos player on my phone or on the PC
  3. WD Discovery tools
  4. WD Access tools

I can access the MyBook by DNS name or IP address if i http:\. I can also access it through Twonky Media.I can also see it through the WD Discovery tool, although i note that the options to map drives to it are greyed out. I can also ping the device against DNS and IP.

I should also report, that I can access another Mybook on my home intranet through 1) and 2) above so i’m sensing it’s something wrong with the device in particular.

Stumped. I’ve seen some other posts on this subject suggesting various changes to settings on my PC, all these aren’t resolving it for me.

Any ideas folks? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Does resetting the unit makes any changes?
