Cannot Add the WD Mirror Gen 2 NAS Drive to Time Machine

Hi there,

I just bought a new Mac Studio recently and I’ve been trying to setup Time Machine to work with my old Mirror Gen 2 NAS drive. I could see the WD drive in the Time Machine setting. However, when I tried to connect to the drive, I was prompted to choose either to login as a Guest or Registered User. I tried both and the prompt kept coming back and wouldn’t go through. I tried the username and password on the Mirror Gen 2 drive and it didn’t work at all.

I wonder if anyone else here have experienced the same issue? Is my Mirror Gen 2 NAS drive too old for the Mac Studio with Ventura? Please help me out and point me to the right direction. Thanks in advance!
