Cannot Access WD My Book World Edition (White Lights) Remotely

I am having difficulty accessing my WD My Book World Edition (White Lights) using Mionet. I can see my other PC hard drives on my home network remotely using Mionet but not my WD My Book Eorld Edition. I am able to access it remotely using the photo viewer application on my Iphone. At home I have not issues in seeing everything, it’s just remotely I have the issue. Any idea’s?

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.

I have contacted support a few times by telephone and email, but so far I have not been given a solution.

This is why I posted this messgage.

WD Technical support contacted me on Saturday and fixed my problem.

 My Book World Edition is now working perfectly.

This issue is now being resolved on our end. We expect to have an auto-update available soon.

If you would like to resolve the issue on your own, you can do so by reinstalling MioNet on your drive by following the instructions in this KB article:
