Cannot access MyCloud using login credentials

Tried logging a query with WD Support but no joy at all so far.
Even when I try ‘Forgotten Password’ to request a reset link, nothing gets sent to my email as the dialogue box suggests, so I’m locked out, can get in and can’t download any updates to s/ware or firmware, which is probably essential as I haven’t used it recently.
Not sure if there’s an issue with the age but my part number is: WDBCTL0030HWT-00.
Any guidance gratefully received.
