My computer HD crapped out, seems to have no partition. I was running Windoes 7. I took my WD 1T B external hard drive, and hooked it up to a laptop with XP. I can see the drive, but when I look at the folders, alot of them are empty, even though it says there is 350 GB of files. Is it an issue with 7/XP? Thanks.
Try enabling show hidden files and see if that does anything. How did you copy the files? If you used software you will probably have to install it in your new PC to see the files.
