Can you use the "Master Browser" setting in MyNet n900 when the router is in AP mode?

This thing just simply cannot hold on to the internet connection but seems to work fine for AP use.  Does anyone know if the setting to use the MyNet n900 as the Master Browser on the network is still available when the router is in AP mode?

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.

The wd moderator was real helpful as always…  what a tool.  If wd could fix the router they wouldnt have dumped it.  I dare any lv1 and lv2 wd techs to diagnose what we forum folks have seen… and fixed.

NO.  it should be grey and not available.  Ap mode disables the router mode…aka it makes it stupid and only wifi to lan bridge.  The master browser is a feature of routing hence router mode operation only.  I will tell you that my solution listed below has resulted in ZERO ISSUES…

a solid, new cable modem (not some **bleep** leased from isp) + fan control mods in firmware to start fan at 100% at startup has resulted in trouble free operation for years.
