Can you use different size HD's in a MC M 2nd gen'?

Hi all,
simple Q ( I hope ), I have just purchased a second MCM 2nd Gen’ came with 2 x 2Tb HD’s
Can I take one out and replace with a 4Tb so I would have a total of 6Tb ( 4 + 2 ).

I would not do that with Raid 1.

Raid 0 might work. Using JBOD mode would probably be best.

Thanks for the reply, what about the Raid Mode ‘Spanning’ I would like to bring them together as ‘One’ unit. I have this set up with my other MCM Gen 2 ( but there are both 4Tb HD’s )
