Can you turn off the wd media player when its part way though crating a safe point

Simple question can you turn off the wd media player when its part way though crating a safe point ?,
and if no what are the consequences if you do .

WDTV does not create “safe points” … if you mean shutdown while compiling the “Media Library” then sure, shutdown … but it might get corrupted, and you will have to re-build the Media Library.

It was my WD my cloud ,not my WD media player .

I was having a senor moment ( again).
