Can WD external HDD to insert in my vaio laptop

Hi…

I do not have knowledge about external hard disk can be insert into laptop and act as internal HDD… i want to know whether my WD HDD WDBACY5000AWT-00 can be insert to my sony vaio laptop VPCEA22EG.
I just want to ask first before i insert into my laptop, because i do not want my external HDD breakdown.

Hi lieyazain1315,

It’s not recommended to connect the external drive in the computer and use it as a internal drive. It may breakdown your drive and cause data loss.
