With WD Anywhere Backup you can technically backup and folder to any destination that you want. However, since it is backup software, it will add additional files to the destination folder and create it’s own directory structure. So it is possible to backup to the Shared Music folder but it isn’t recommended since the software will organize the files the way that it wants. The backup destination also cannot be modified or any files/folder renamed or the backup software can cease to work properly.
