I can access the drive thru my network at all times but need to restart the drive to access thru internet on app or dashboard. Then it seems using drive causes it to lose connection as if all the resources are used and it must be restarted in order to access(but still accessible thru network but no dashboard).
So I’m not sure but I read other posts of similar things where turning off file cataloging and minimizing number of servers or something helped to keep drive from going offline.
I haven’t been very successful doing the things in those posts however and get errors.
Has anyone been able to fix this issue and willing to assist me in doing so? Several attempts with wd support have left me looking for another way.
Check running processes to see what’s happening. Dashboard > network activity (bottom lift corner).
